In 2016, after 25 years as a Registered Nurse, where she often used massage techniques to care for her patients' pain and anxiety, Tammy continued her education and became licensed to practice massage therapy independently.
Volunteering with cancer survivors is her passion. As a nurse, Tammy worked on High Point Hospital's inpatient oncology unit as well as the outpatient chemo room. Now she enjoys volunteering at cancer patient events.
Prior to the Coronovirus Pandemic of 2020, Tammy volunteered for the Cancer GPS Program at the hospital where she previously worked as a registered nurse. Such great people to serve with!
Ready for the next client. Prior to moving to West Jefferson in late 2020, Tammy maintained a solo practice in Archdale, North Carolina.
Tammy and her husband, after more than 30 years of marriage, became empty nesters. They sold their home in Pleasant Garden, NC and moved to West Jefferson, NC. They LOVE the NC Mountains!
